Talking about RECENT events in English
How do you express the very recent past in English? This isn’t a grammar lesson. Simply, an easy way (4 ways) to talk about things that have happened recently (or have just happened) in English.
You can use the past tense or the present perfect to talk about something that happened or has happened. However, if you really want to specify that what happened, happened recently, you can use the expression: “to have just + past participle”.
This one is SO COMMON and used by natives ALL. THE. TIME.
